About Rectifier Technologies and Duvine
Our History
Duvine Developments Ltd was formed in 1982 by Malcolm Duncan and Nick Vinter. In the late 1990’s Nick Vinter sold his share of the business to Malcolm Duncan who retained the Company until 2006 when the assets of Duvine Developments Ltd were sold to the current Parent Company Rectifier Technologies Ltd based in Melbourne, Australia.From 2001 Malcolm Duncan was (and still remains) a shareholder of Rectifier Technologies Ltd from whom Duvine Developments Limited acquired licences for some of the range of RT products.
The new UK Company is named Rectifier Technologies (UK) Ltd and retains the brand name of Duvine for the traditional range of products. The employees, customer base and suppliers remained unaffected as a result of the change of owner. The Company benefits by adding to its range of products those from the Rectifier Technologies Group which includes Rectifier Technologies Pacific Pty Ltd, Protran Technologies Pty Ltd and Rectifier Technologies (Malaysia) formally Topaz Power (M) Sdn Bhd.
What We Do
We design, manufacture and supply DC power supply products under the Duvine brand. We also supply and support products from the Rectifier Technologies group. Rectifier Technologies core business is the design and manufacture of DC Energy systems using switch mode rectifier designs and related electronic accessories. The range of Rectifier Technologies’ products includes the exceptional telecommunication product range of Rectifier Technologies Pacific.

These standard products are flexible enough to cater for common variations in customer requirements, ensuring a cost effective solution and short lead time.
